Bio
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Turin in 2006.
In 2012 he obtained the Specialization in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the University of Milan. During the period of specialized training spends 24 months at the II Division of Spine Surgery of the IRRCS Galeazzi Orthopedic Institute. His Thesis of Specialty, based on the Dr. Berjano case series entitled “Vertebral Fusion with Direct Side Access”, is a pioneering work in Europe on the XLIF technique and its applications.
Dr. Damilano now is a member of the équipe of Dr. Berjano and Prof. Lamartina (GSpine4), treating a wide range of spinal pathologies (degenerative diseases, deformities, trauma, tumors). Scientific interests regarding degenerative deformities and minimally invasive spine surgery; Faculty of Clinical Professional Development for Spinal Lateral Approach.
