Bio
Prof. Luca Francetti earned his degree cum laude in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Milano (Italy) in 1986, and in 1989 specialized in Odontostomatology at the University of Pavia (Italy). Assistant Professor at the Università degli Studi di Milano since 1997, Associate Professor from 2005 he is actually Full Professor at the same University where he has been teaching Periodontology and implant Dentistry since 1990 when he was Honorary Lecturer. Chairman of the Dental Clinic at IRCCS Galeazzi Orthopedic Institute, and Director of the post-graduate School in Oral Surgery at the same University, Department of Biomedical, Surgical and Dental Sciences, Università degli Studi di Milano.
He is an Active Member and Past-President (2010-2011 two-year term) of the Italian Society of Periodontology and Implantology (SIdP); Active Member of the the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP), of the European Association for Osseointegration (EACMFS) and of the Italian Society of Odontology and Maxillo-Facial Surgery. Author or co-author of more than 120 scientific papers, Prof. Francetti lectures in National and International conferences and courses.
