Prof. Giovanni Lombardi acquires new title as Associate Professor of Gdańsk University of Physical Education & Sport
Prof. Giovanni Lombardi, director of the Laboratory of Experimental Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, has received the title Associate Professor for Health Sciences at the Dept. of Physiology and Pharmacology of the Gdańsk University of Physical Education & Sport (Gdańsk, Poland). According to the ranking of the Polish Ministry of Higher Education, the Akademia Wychowania Fizczynego I Sportu w Gdańsku, is one of the best universities in Poland (ranked A) with a long experience in the field of physiology and sports medicine but also in the implementation of the physical activity in the therapeutic program of several pathological conditions. This nomination will strengthen the already excellent cooperation among our Institutions and, beyond the exchange of knowledge, researchers, and students, it point to the excellence in the field of “Exercise is Medicine”.
